Shipping Information
Most orders are shipped within a week from the time an order is placed, depending on the work load in the shipping department.
All aquariums, stands, and canopies are shipped directly from the manufacture. If the item(s) is in stock, it will ship within a week from the time the shipping charge is approved by you. If the aquarium, stand or canopy is not in stock, it could take 3 - 4 weeks before it is able to be shipped.
Pricing
We do not charge EXTRA for shipping costs. We only bill you for the charge from the carrier. We have no control over the cost. If you would like a quote BEFORE we ship, select the "shipping quote required" option when you palce your order.
SeaClear Tanks and Large items Shipping options:
Lead time
Standard tanks 50 gallons or under are 5-7 day lead time and ship ground under house account prepaid &bill back anything higher is 7-12 days lead time prepaid &bill back, Custom providing we have the material in stock is 10-15 day lead prepaid &bill back. All shipments are invoiced and should be paid prior to shipping… Lead time provided is build time excluding transit &delivery.. Lead time is provided as an approximate while NAP generally ships out sooner when possible..
Freight
It is the customers responsibility to provide a confirmed/reliable contact number so Freight can call in. This avoids redelivery fees .All freight is shipped on a pallet and well secured it is the customers responsibility to thoroughly inspect prior to signature of received.. if damaged is detected it is mandatory for the customer to note damage on the receiving document NAP recommends freight to be denied unless minor but still must be noted… If freight is received &then damage is detected NAP is not responsible nor liable as signature nullifies freights responsibilities as signature concludes freight was received in good condition and will not pay for damaged freight… Damaged freight detected and noted accordingly after review and approval by NAP supervisor will replace original order and file claim with carrier…. If a tank is received individually with no pallet, Please sign on receiving document "missing pallet, potential damage". If not noted NAP will not be responsible for replacement and may wait up to 90 or more days for claim disposition…
Standard Shipping options:
Continental UPS Ground
For items up to 2 lb., the shipping charge for ground service is stated on the invoice. If your order is over 2 lb., we will contact you by e-mail and inform you of the adjusted shipping cost. You will need to reply to this e-mail to let us know you approve of the adjusted amount before your order can be processed.
Ground packages
All ground packages must be inspected in a timely manner any damage detected customer must immediately call Fedex/UPS and report damage and request a case# with case number please contact NAP to proceed replacement order..
NOTE: NAP is not requesting customer to file a claim but just to report the damage.
Continental UPS Air
Because this service is based on the dimensional weight of the package, we can not estimate this cost. Once you place your order we will determine the size of the box and its dimensional weight and obtain a shipping quote. You will be notified by e-mail of the UPS Air options (3rd day, 2nd day, Next day) as well as ground, and the various charges. You will need to respond to this e-mail and inform us which shipping method you would like to proceed with.
Alaska and Hawaii
Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii are sent UPS Air or USPS Airmail Parcel Post. You will be notified by e-mail with the shipping price. You will need to respond to this e-mail and inform us which shipping method you would like to proceed with.
International and Canadian Shipping
Most international and Canadian orders are shipped through the United States Postal Service. Shipping charges for international orders will have to be determined on an individual bases. You will be notified by e-mail with the shipping quote. You will need to respond to this e-mail before we are able to process your order.
Freight - Common Carrier
This service is for large and bulky items that are over 130’ length x girth, packaged. This would include most aquariums over 50 gallons. All freight shipments are drop shipped from the manufacture. We will contact you with a freight quote. In most cases on orders of this size, we will need a signed Order Confirmation (provided by us) before the order can be processed.
Terms and Conditions
All orders are processed manually. Once an order is submitted, that does not mean that it has been charged to your credit card.
United States Orders
All sales are 100% prepaid. We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express.
If you wish to pay with a check, please e-mail us with your order details so a shipping quote can be obtained prior to you mailing the check. There will be a 2 week hold on all orders paid with a check. There is a $25.00 charge for all returned checks.
International Orders
As an added security precaution, all international orders must be paid with a Bank Funds Wire Transfer. There is an additional $20.00 service charge for this service. We do not process international credit cards.
Returns
Custom orders are non refundable.
Please contact us prior to returning anything. All authorized returns require an R. M. A. # (Return Merchandise Authorization). You are responsible for the return shipping cost. There is a 20% restocking fee for all returned merchandise. Returns are not accepted after 30 days. If an item is under warranty, please contact the manufacture. Shipping charges are nonrefundable.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
Please inspect all items as soon as your package arrives. If your order arrives damaged or your order was not filled properly, you must contact us immediately. After 3 days from the delivered date, we will assume your product arrived safely.
Please note: All credit card charges are processed through one of two subsidiary accounts:
Payments made with a Visa, Master Card, Discover Card or American Express, are processed through Artsci / RedBag.us. and will be stated as such on your credit card statement.
